                       Ramiro Z

In a life that spanned 30 years from 1965 , G Ramiro Z's performance as a sport-horse and breeding sire was second to none and earned him the titles of ' Stallion of the Century ' and ' King of Sires '.

Ramiro was conceived in Holstien and born in Westphalia. He was licensed in Neumunster having been bred by Paul Bahlmann. Ramiro's influence upon Dutch Warmblood breeding was and still is of utmost importance. In 1992 the Dutch bestowed the title of 'Horse of the Year' upon him.

One of Ramiro's claim to fame is his fertility. Another is his sperm quality. They were so high that he was used in the research of artificial insemination and frozen semen.

His progeny include a large number of stallions which have been approved in the Netherlands and other countries.
